Application process

Henrik Bie, MA Television, London College of Communication

UAL has local representatives in Canada based in Toronto and Vancouver. They can assist you through the entire application process; from enquiry to enrolment. This service is free.

Applying through our Canadian representatives is the only way to initiate an in-person interview with a UAL Academic. Our Academics can also make an alternative course offer if they feel you are better suited to another course. They would discuss an alternative with you first.

If you have any questions about our courses, you can get in touch with our Canadian representatives:
For Eastern Canada, contact Jess at
For Western Canada, contact Pennylane at

Key deadlines

There are no fixed deadlines for applications from international students, but we advise you to apply as early as possible.

Canadian representatives

If you are apllying through our representatives in Canada, you might be asked to attend an in-person interview with one of our International Academics.

In these interviews, our staff can make offers for courses at any of UAL’s six colleges. This means that if you are not accepted at your first choice college, you may be offered a more suitable course at one of our other colleges.

Next steps

Once you have submitted your application, the selection process varies depending on the course.
